Energy efficiency and cogeneration
Energy loss is huge in Europe. As much as 50% of the energy produced is lost before reaching the end consumer. The best way to prevent this waste, as professor Vad Mathiesen suggests, would be to use efficient systems such as district heating networks and cogeneration plants.
